Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a front desk team member to provide efficient check-in and check-out services and support peak-period operations. You will assist in guiding the front desk team, train staff on procedures, and handle reservations while promoting hotel services and amenities.

The role requires fluency in English, a high school diploma, and at least one year in front office work; hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year front office/guest relations experience, including supervisory training/experience.
• Some college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and professional check-in/check-out services per scripting and standards.
• Assist in supervising the front desk function; ensure staff is trained on service expectations and systems.
• Monitor performance and report issues; suggest corrective actions to management.
• Up-sell rooms to maximize hotel revenue.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately; prepare deposits and reports.
• Answer phones, take reservations, and assist staff with duties; ensure security of keys.
