Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to oversee staff and ensure efficient store operations. The role involves coaching team members, greeting guests, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and handling cash processes with accuracy.

The position requires flexibility in hours, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. This is an on-site role within our MA store network.

Qualifications

• Must have flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized to supervise staff and processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered.
• Ability to access all areas of the store (selling floor, stock, register).
• Strong physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs during shifts.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures (cooler, outdoors).
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the store.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees and ensure management-directed duties are carried out.
• Provide coaching feedback to staff to improve performance.
• Greet guests and ensure an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Enforce safety, security, and store operations policies.
• Operate POS and manage cash levels for supervised staff.
• Maintain store housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure 24/7 execution of guest service programs.
• Handle cash processes including deposits, lottery, gifts, and checks where applicable.
• Keep products replenished to maintain in-stock conditions.
• Address guest inquiries and complaints, escalating as needed.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to guidelines.
