Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable Store Leader to join our West Springfield, MA team. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on best-in-class service, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience for every guest.

You will open/close the store, manage staff, and drive sales while controlling costs. A High School diploma and at least 1 year of management experience are required, with strong communication and multitasking skills a must.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are Wowing the Customer through personal contact with customers.
• Helps oversee the daily activities of all store associates and ensure data? They are performing duties.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations and staff management.
• Opens or closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms, ensures daily operation readiness.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies and product knowledge.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising and customer service optimization.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
