Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Store Operations Manager to lead major store operations, including Guest Service, Fresh Production, In-Stock, and Inventory Control. You will drive hospitality, safety, and execution, coaching teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will model impeccable hospitality, manage scheduling and labor within budget, and act as MOD to ensure smooth operations and strong guest service daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hospitality, or related field.
• Proven success delivering an exceptional guest experience while meeting performance goals.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic proficiency with POS systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain after hire.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Model company values and lead by example on the sales floor.
• Provide hands-on leadership to Guest Service and Fresh Production.
• Help manage scheduling and labor within budgets.
• Be visible on the floor, engage with guests, and support team members.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) during shifts to ensure safety and service excellence.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audits and ensure action plans are followed.
