Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead store operations, guide team members, and ensure pricing integrity. This fast-paced role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a passion for excellence to drive results.

You will supervise inventory, merchandising, and guest service while coordinating with leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and coverage during flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant and/or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them in a friendly manner with accurate and timely service.
• Making recommendations and accommodating requests.
• Managing order guides/ordering deadlines/reducing shrink/damage.
• Receiving/stocking of goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels.
• Direct teams to handle, rest, and merchandising of goods that follow The Fresh Market standards.
• Engage, motivate, coach, and train team members on-the-job and via internal training platform to provide excellent guest service safely.
• Total store operations or Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities when needed.
