Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Guest Services Associate for Homewood Mountain & Lake Club on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, California. The role supports day-to-day Guest Services operations and delivers an exceptional guest experience, serving as a key contact for guests seeking guidance on products and services.

Responsibilities include selling lift tickets, school programs, rentals and passes, processing transactions, handling inquiries, and maintaining knowledge of resort offerings.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or ski resorts preferred.
• Proficiency with email, web apps and Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide accurate information on resort products and services.
• Know lift tickets, ski and snowboard school programs, rentals and season passes.
• Assist guests with product selection and upsell where appropriate.
• Process sales, reservations and guest requests accurately and efficiently.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures and regulations.
• Operate sales and database platforms (including RTP) and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure the Guest Services office complies with the Department Operating Plan.
• Snow removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
