Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Guest Services Associate for Homewood Mountain & Lake Club in Lake Tahoe, CA. You will serve guests, recommend products, process transactions, and ensure outstanding service in a fast-paced resort setting.

The role requires 18+ years old, hospitality experience preferred, and strong communication skills. Expect flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a seasonal, non-exempt environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide accurate information on resort products and services.
• Maintain knowledge of lift tickets, ski/snowboard programs, rentals, passes, and resort offerings.
• Assist guests with product selection and recommendations.
• Process sales, reservations, transactions, and guest requests accurately.
• Respond to guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Provide billing/information support and access details about resort services.
• Demonstrate proficiency with resort systems and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Listen actively to guests and anticipate their needs.
• Keep the Guest Services area in line with the Department Operating Plan.
• Snow removal as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
