Job summary

Crowne Plaza Suffern in New York seeks a friendly Guest Service Agent to manage front desk tasks, greet guests, and deliver excellent service. You will handle registrations, reservations, and inquiries with accuracy and courtesy.

Responsibilities include processing payments, balancing cash at shift start/end, upselling rooms, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure smooth room turnover. Prior experience in guest relations is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–12 months in guest relations or related role.
• Excellent computer and cash handling skills.
• Sociable, outgoing, guest-service oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest registration, room assignments, and check-ins/outs.
• Provide room rate quotes, upsell, and handle guest requests.
• Verify registrations, process payments, and balance folios.
• Resolve guest inquiries and direct them to hotel services and local attractions.
• Maintain professional phone etiquette and assist with reservations.
