Job summary

Extended Stay America, Inc. is seeking a Guest Services Representative to assist guests, answer phones, and manage check-in/out and payments. The role emphasizes accuracy in daily front desk tasks, balance handling, and compliance with safety policies while delivering ESA’s service standards.

The GSR will also support breakfast setup, maintain a clean lobby area, and identify sales opportunities to increase reservations. A friendly, organized approach is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate in English proficiently.
• Operate property management system software and use shift reports.
• Follow safety rules, instructions and manuals.
• Complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform basic arithmetic for payments and balances.
• Exercise good judgment in guest interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests, answer phones, check in/out, and collect payments.
• Process reservations, registrations, payments and departures per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Promote ESA value and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Handle in-house balances and cash/credit card records.
• Follow safety and security procedures for guests and staff.
