Job summary

Stonebridge in North Bergen, NJ is seeking a Guest Service Agent to support front office operations, handling check-in/out, guest inquiries, payments, and reservations to ensure high guest satisfaction. You will greet guests, verify credit, manage room assignments, post charges, balance cash, and coordinate with housekeeping.

Proficiency with property management systems and basic office software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with property management systems and basic office software.
• Ability to handle cash transactions.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, register and assign rooms on arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts in PMS.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and provide change.
• Balance cash and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Issue room keys and coordinate with bell staff.
• Review accounts at checkout and post charges to ledgers.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address issues.
• Make and confirm reservations for guests.
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, dining, and local attractions.
