Stonebridge Companies is hiring a Guest Service Agent in North Bergen, New Jersey. The role supports the hotel's front office operations, handling check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest inquiries to ensure a high level of service.

Responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining guest records in the PMS, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to address issues. A customer-service mindset and familiarity with Word/Excel are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel front desk or guest service role preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using property management systems and basic office software (e.g., Word, Excel).
• Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow hotel policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests upon arrival.
• Verify guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodation.
• Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts in PMS.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Balance cash accounts and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Issue room keys and provide instructions to bell attendants.
• Review accounts and charges with guests during check-out.
• Post charges for rooms, food, and services to ledgers.
