Job summary

Hei Hotels Inc. is seeking a Front Desk Agent for our Aloft Miami Airport property in Miami, Florida. This on-site role greets guests, checks them in, answers questions, and helps ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

The ideal candidate has hotel front desk experience, strong communication, and the ability to use a computer system for registrations, payments, and key coding. You will promote brand programs, handle guest requests, resolve issues, and maintain a calm, professional presence

Qualifications

• Hotel/front desk experience preferred.
• Ability to perform moderate mathematical calculations with a calculator.
• Strong customer service and diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to stand and move through front office and perform duties with/without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe emergency situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; adapt style to audience.
• Ability to establish professional relationships with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly, sincere welcome and provide local information.
• Complete the registration process in the computer system; confirm guest details.
• Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts programs and brand marketing.
• Code electronic keys and provide welcome folders with keys and coupons.
• Handle payments, vouchers, and currency conversions; post charges.
• Answer telephone promptly and relay messages to guests.
• Close guest accounts at check-out and address guest satisfaction.
• Field complaints and research solutions to resolve issues.
• Stay calm during emergencies and busy hotel activity; follow attendance rules.
