Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to deliver exceptional member service in a welcoming environment. You will greet guests, support membership sign-ups, answer inquiries, and promote the Judgement Free Zone during the shift.

Responsibilities include processing sign-ups, tours, and retail transactions while maintaining clean facilities. The role requires 6–12 months in customer service, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club and assist with questions during check-in.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a Manager when needed.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers.
• Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and transfers.
• Conduct member tours and assess membership needs.
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals.
• Regularly clean and sanitize exercise equipment and spa amenities.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
