Job summary

SMI Hotel Group seeks a friendly Front Desk Agent to deliver warm, efficient service at our Richmond, VA property. You will greet guests, check them in/out, answer questions, and promote hotel amenities while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Ideal candidates have experience with hotel reservation systems (OnQ or Opera), strong communication and organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset focused on 100% guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a hotel front desk agent or receptionist.
• Experience with hotel reservations software like OnQ or Opera.
• Customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
• Assist guests and resolve guest challenges to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
• Accurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activities.
• Accurately audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, house charges, postings etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
