Job summary

Coho Oceanfront Lodge is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to help create a welcoming stay for guests from arrival to departure. The role supports front desk operations, reservations, payments, and guest inquiries in a fast-paced lodge environment.

Part-time and full-time positions are available, with shifts mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Medical, dental, and vision insurance options accompany the role at the lodge.

Qualifications

• Previous front desk, hotel, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with property management systems is helpful.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Check guests in and out accurately and efficiently using the property management system.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Provide information about the lodge, local attractions, and available services.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, room assignments, and related updates.
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to help resolve guest needs and support a positive guest experience.
• Follow lodge policies, procedures, and service standards.
