Job summary

Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach, OR is seeking a friendly Guest Service Representative to join the Front Desk team. You will be the welcome face, delivering genuine hospitality and personalized service to guests from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include check-ins/outs, answering questions, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure memorable stays along the Oregon coast. The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and helping others
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Positive attitude and calm demeanor in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort with computers and learning hotel software systems
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Hotel/resort or customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly from arrival through departure.
• Complete accurate guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Answer questions, provide recommendations, and assist with requests.
• Process reservations, room assignments, payments, and billing.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure quality stays.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly with empathy and professionalism.
• Answer phone calls and emails courteously and timely.
• Maintain accurate guest records following resort policies.
