Highgate Hotels’ Homewood Suites Grapevine is seeking a Front Office Agent to deliver attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing occupancy and revenue. Responsibilities include assisting guests with inquiries, maintaining knowledge of rates and promotions, and balancing shift paperwork.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, college coursework in related field, computer experience, and prior hospitality or customer service experience.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and rate promotions.
• Be able to handle check-ins and checkouts in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.
• Operate the Front Desk computer system and complete shift checklists.
