Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or front desk preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and use a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete the registration process to include inputting and retrieving information, confirming guest details and room rate, assigning rooms, coding keys, and providing a welcome packet.
• Assist guests with checkout, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted, processing payments and handling different forms of payment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of room types, rates, packages and local information; answer guest questions and inquiries.
• Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities and maximize occupancy.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and resolve issues with courtesy and efficiency.
• Handle guest complaints and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction.
• Receive, input, relay messages to guests.
