Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Front Office Agent in Denver. The role focuses on providing attentive, courteous service during check-in, stay, and checkout while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.

You will answer guest inquiries, follow cash policies, know current rates and promotions, and assist with reservations and shift reports. A friendly demeanor and reliable attendance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Computer experience required.
• Customer Services experience preferred.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Must multitask and prioritize to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries from guests regarding restaurants, transportation, entertainment, etc.
• Follow all cash handling and credit policies.
• Be aware of all rates, packages and promotions.
• Be familiar with all in-house groups and dates.
• Obtain information when taking room reservations and quote rates accordingly.
• Balance and prepare paperwork for shift closing.
• Assist guests with safe deposit boxes and special requests.
