Concord Hospitality in Dayton, OH is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to deliver top-tier guest service at the Marriott property. You will greet guests, handle check-in/check-out, and assist with inquiries to ensure a seamless stay.

This on-site role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a professional, welcoming demeanor. You will balance payments, answer calls, and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues, including logging lost and found items.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior hospitality or customer service experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Promptly and effectively handle guest complaints and requests.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly professional manner.
• Secure a method of payment for all guests at check in. Follow procedures as required by Concord Hospitality.
• Post guest charges, compute guest bills, collect payments, and balance cash handling.
• Understand the Marriott Bonvoy program and promotions.
• Answer switchboard and direct calls to appropriate departments.
• Block rooms and handle special requests; monitor room availability.
• Handle safety deposit boxes and maintain knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Open and close shifts; balance cash drops and complete shift reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance regarding guest requests or issues; log lost and found items.
