Job summary

HHM Hotels in Brookline, MA is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to greet, register and assist guests according to brand standards. You will handle check-in/check-out, manage reservations, process payments and use the PMS system to ensure smooth service.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience. You will join a team that values guest satisfaction, teamwork and safe work practices, with opportunities to grow toward Front Desk

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.
• Knowledge of PMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests immediately and assist with their needs.
• Register guests and assign rooms.
• Establish payment methods and verify credit.
• Make and confirm reservations.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
• Transmit and receive messages using the PMS system.
• Respond to guest requests promptly.
• Resolve guest complaints, elevating to supervisor if necessary.
• Secure guests' valuables in hotel safe or safe-deposit boxes.
• Balance accounts and conduct audits.
• Support in the breakfast area or assist guests with luggage during peak periods.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
