Job summary

You will handle phones, cash/credit transactions, reservations, and upsell opportunities while maintaining guest privacy and security. Strong English, math, and communication skills are essential, with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or to be obtained.
• TIPS certification may be required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Process cash and credit card transactions and prepare reports.
• Maintain the security of cash, credit card transactions, and guest information.
• Routinely book reservations and manage cancellations/updates.
• Upsell rooms to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate with shifts and management to ensure smooth operations.
