Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels in Orlando is seeking a Guest Services Agent to greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, and answer inquiries while coordinating with the Operations Manager. The role centers on delivering Sonesta Service with warmth and professionalism.

You will handle cash and card transactions, upsell rooms when appropriate, process reservations, and ensure guest safety and satisfaction while upholding front desk standards and brand values.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service experience.
• English language proficiency; other languages beneficial.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems preferred.
• ServSafe and TIPS certifications may be required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physically able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on Sonesta Service standards in all guest interactions.
• Register guests, issue keys, answer phones, and provide information on hotel services.
• Process cash and credit card transactions and maintain secure cash handling.
• Maintain the security of guest information and transactions.
• Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and updates; upsell rooms when possible.
• Follow seasonal reservation strategies for pricing and occupancy.
• Coordinate with shifts and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Interact with guests at the front desk and support operations as needed.
