Job summary

Coma Coffee Roasters is seeking a friendly hotel front desk associate to register guests, assign rooms, issue keys, balance accounts, and handle payments at check-in and check-out. You will verify IDs, transmit messages, and maintain accurate occupancy records.

You will answer calls, route inquiries, coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and assist guests with services, dining, shopping, and area activities.

Responsibilities

• Register guests and assign rooms
• Verify guest identification, issue room keys, transmit and receive messages, and keep records of occupied rooms and guests’ accounts and statements
• Answer calls and connect callers to the appropriate extension
• Use computer system to assist guests at check-in and check-out
• Keep records of room availability and manage reservations
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, dining, entertainment and local activities
• Advise housekeeping when rooms are vacated and ready for cleaning
• Contact housekeeping or maintenance when guests report problems
• Perform simple bookkeeping tasks, such as balancing cash accounts
• Record guest comments or complaints and refer guests to supervisor as needed
