Job summary

Extended Stay America in Mt Pleasant, SC seeks a friendly Guest Services Representative to greet guests, answer phones, check in/out, and handle payments according to company guidelines. You will maintain front desk areas, assist with breakfast setup, and resolve guest requests through ESA's Make it Right process while upholding safety standards.

This role involves processing reservations, managing cash and city ledger accounts, and supporting housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English proficiently with guests, associates and vendors.
• Proficient use of the property management system and ability to audit shift reports.
• Understand safety rules and operating instructions and follow procedures.
• Complete routine reports and paperwork accurately.
• Perform basic arithmetic and handle guest accounts and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer phones, check in/out and collect payment per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk areas and assist with breakfast setup and display.
• Resolve guest issues through Make it Right while maintaining ESA service standards.
• Process reservations and upsell to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Maintain cash, city ledger, and balance daily transactions; adhere to key controls.
