Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is hiring a Front Desk Agent to assist guests during check-in and check-out, input guest data into the system, and promote the HEI brand and local attractions.

You will greet guests warmly, verify information, manage room assignments, process payments, and provide accurate information on services and local attractions. A professional demeanor and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to input and retrieve information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to stand and move throughout front office.
• Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers and patrons.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and provide accurate information about hours and local attractions.
• Complete the registration process and verify guest details and room rate.
• Process payments and post charges to guest rooms and accounts.
• Answer and route calls, and manage guest messages and mail.
• Handle check-out and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address complaints and negotiate solutions when necessary.
