Job summary

Extended Stay America in Darien, Illinois is seeking a courteous Guest Services Representative to welcome guests, assist with check-in/check-out, answer phones, and collect payments following company policies and procedures.

You will maintain an organized front desk and lobby, process reservations, handle cash and card transactions, promote ESA services, and ensure safety and security standards are followed at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Strong English communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with check-in/check-out and answer phones.
• Process reservations and payments per guidelines.
• Maintain front desk area and lobby in a clean, organized state.
• Promote ESA services and convert inquiries into reservations.
• Handle cash, credit card, and city ledger balances.
• Provide accommodations and address guest requests when possible.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
