Job summary

United Dairy Farmers, Inc. is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience, warmly greeting Guests and ensuring the store is prepared for every visit.

You will lead during your shift, follow policy, and uphold safety, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Responsibilities include managing POS and gas sales, stocking shelves, monitoring temperatures, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal, gas console, check identification documents.
• Legal qualification to conduct alcohol and tobacco sales as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide the Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests and ensure the store is ready for Guests at all times.
• Assist with shakes, cups, ice cream/yogurt, sundaes and beverages as part of DipSide service.
• Operate POS system and gas console, process transactions and make change.
• Stock shelves, keep freezers and dip cabinet filled and presentable.
• Maintain store security, cash control, and follow Tobacco/Alcohol procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe store and equipment; monitor temperatures and calibration.
• Accurately complete time records and required documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
• Communicate effectively with customers; speak and understand English clearly.
