Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader in Goshen Township, OH. The role reports to the Store Manager and requires full-time hours (37-40 per week) with potential 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console, and verify identification documents.
• Ability to prepare DipSide items using dips cabinets and related supplies.

Responsibilities

• Overall Guest Services: greet Guests warmly and ensure the store is prepared for every Guest to encourage return visits.
• DipSide Guest Services: prepare shakes, cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed containers.
• Operate POS system and gas console accurately; handle transactions and payments.
• Stock merchandise; keep shelves, coolers and dip cabinet stocked and presentable; rotate stock as needed.
• Security: monitor store and lot to minimize theft; manage cash drop procedures and adherence to tobacco/alcohol policies.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean and equipment temperatures within safe ranges.
• Reporting: complete time records and Customer First documentation accurately.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.
