Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking a Shift Leader to deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience across all guest interactions. The role requires supervising a team during 37–40 hours weekly, including potential 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, while ensuring safe, ethical operations and compliance with all laws.

The candidate will manage guest services, product preparation, and register operations. Strong English communication and arithmetic skills are essential for accurate transactions and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be legally qualified under state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco.
• Able to follow company policy to ensure safe and efficient operation of the shift.
• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; greet Guests with a warm, authentic hello and ensure they leave satisfied.
• Prepare shakes, malts, cups/cones, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• Efficiently operate POS system and gas console, process transactions, and handle payments and changes.
• Stock shelves, rotate stock, and keep dip cabinet, coffee pots, and ice dispensers clean and presentable.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and general maintenance of equipment and premises.
