Job summary

Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar in Missouri is seeking a friendly server dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience. You will welcome guests, explain specials, and tailor recommendations to individual tastes.

You will take orders, enter them into the Micros system, serve promptly, handle payments, and keep dining areas clean. The role requires a minimum of one year of serving experience and the ability to stand long hours and lift trays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of service experience.
• Ability to communicate in the predominant language of our guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and service functions.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests within 30 seconds.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Take orders and input into the Micros system.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Prepare final bill and process payments.
• Maintain clean service areas and reset tables.
• Assist fellow servers and bussing staff as needed.
