Job summary

Big Whiskey's American Restaurant & Bar in Ozark, MO is seeking a friendly server to provide attentive, responsive service and create an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will greet guests, take orders, explain specials, make recommendations, and handle payments with accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Previous dining room experience preferred; must be able to stand long shifts. We offer flexible scheduling and employee discounts to our team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of service experience.
• Ability to communicate and understand guests' language needs.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
• Capable of lifting and carrying trays up to 20–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests within 30 seconds and make them feel at home.
• Take orders, enter into Micros system, and ensure accuracy.
• Explain specials and menu changes and make recommendations.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Present checks, process payments, and handle cash/credit.
• Maintain clean service areas and assist teammates as needed.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
