Job summary

Primary duties include menu mastery, efficient table turnover, upselling, accurate POS usage, and maintaining a clean, welcoming dining room while ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with age checks for alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of menu offerings and daily specials.
• Ability to serve multiple tables while maintaining service standards.
• Capable of upselling beverages and menu items.
• Proficiency with a POS system to ring orders accurately.
• Friendly, fast interaction with guests and attentive service.
• Handle different payment methods and give correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and manage side-work efficiently.
• Check guest ages for alcohol service and refuse politely when needed.
• Communicate issues to managers to resolve guest concerns.

Responsibilities

• Sell and serve food and beverages to guests with Best in Class service.
• Serve 3 to 6 tables after training and meet standards.
• Upsell alcohol and food items to enhance guest experience.
• Use a computer to ring orders and process payments.
• Interact with guests in a consistent, friendly manner.
• Ensure total restaurant cleanliness and smooth operation.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and handle refusals gracefully.
• Monitor guest safety when alcohol is involved and inform management when needed.
• Take to-go orders when applicable and coordinate with the team.
