The role focuses on selling and serving food and beverages while upholding our best-in-class service throughout the guest experience.

Responsibilities include knowing the menu, serving multiple tables, upselling, handling payments, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to upsell food and beverages to increase guest satisfaction.
• Comfortable using a point-of-sale system and handling payments.

Responsibilities

• Have complete knowledge of this restaurant's food and beverage menu.
• After training, be able to serve 3 to 6 tables at a time and meet or exceed standards.
• Able to consistently upsell alcohol and food items.
• Able to use a computer to rang orders on a check.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
• Accept different types of payment and make change.
• Maintain cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant; clear and reset tables quickly.
• Check IDs to ensure guests are 21+ before serving alcohol; refuse to serve politely if underage.
• Monitor guests’ behavior when alcohol is involved and inform management if needed.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and strive to exceed expectations.
• Report to work in neat uniform and maintain personal hygiene.
• Communicate with Managers about any unhappy guest.
• Take and fill to-go orders, if applicable.
