Job summary

Crystal Mountain is seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our Food and Beverage team. The role supports guests with menu recommendations and timely service in a dynamic resort setting, with evenings, weekends and holidays as part of the schedule.

The position is anticipated to begin in late April or early May in Michigan. Ideal candidates will have prior serving experience, basic POS familiarity, and a commitment to professional conduct.

Qualifications

• TIPS/TAMS certification preferred or obtainable after employment.
• Previous experience as a server is a plus.
• POS system experience is a plus.
• Clear and concise verbal communication.
• Self-directed and able to maximize time and resources.
• Professional conduct aligned with company core values.

Responsibilities

• Make beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Pre-bus tables between each course.
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
• Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
