Job summary

Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville, Michigan, is seeking a Breakfast Server to provide friendly, responsive service as part of our Food and Beverage team. The position is anticipated to start in late April or early May.

You will recommend menu items, answer questions about food and beverages, deliver orders promptly, bus tables between courses, and maintain a clean dining area. Evening, weekends and holidays are regular parts of the schedule.

Qualifications

• TIPS/TAMS Certified. May be obtained after employment.
• Previous experience as a server a plus.
• POS experience a plus.
• Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
• Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Make beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Pre-bus tables between each course.
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
• Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.
• Ensure we have exceeded our guest's experience in our food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
