Job summary

Crystal Mountain is seeking a friendly Server to join our Food and Beverage team, delivering exceptional dining experiences for resort guests. You will recommend beverages, appetizers, entrées, and desserts, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Evenings, weekends and holidays are part of the schedule. Prior server experience and POS familiarity are pluses; TIPS/TAMS certification may be obtained after employment.

Qualifications

• TIPS/TAMS Certified. May be obtained after employment.
• Previous experience as a server a plus.
• POS experience a plus.
• Clear and concise verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to maximize use of time, resources and technology.
• Exemplifies professional conduct and adherence to company Core Values.

Responsibilities

• Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Pre-bus tables between each course.
• Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas.
• Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience.
• Ensure we have exceeded our guest's experience in our food and service.
• Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
