Job summary

Crystal Mountain is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Server to join our Food and Beverage team. The role starts late April or early May, with duties including beverage and menu recommendations, timely food delivery, and maintaining a polished dining area.

Candidates should have High School diploma or equivalent; TIPS/TAMS certification is a plus (may be obtained after employment) and prior server or POS experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• TIPS/TAMS certification preferred (may be obtained after employment).
• Previous server experience is a plus; strong verbal communication required.
• POS experience is a plus; able to use a POS system efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Recommend beverages, appetizers, entrées, and desserts to guests.
• Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services.
• Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests accurately and promptly.
• Pre-bus tables between courses; perform side work as assigned.
• Complete opening and closing checklists; maintain clean dining areas.
• Attend scheduled meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

| Make specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations for resort guests. Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services. Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in an accurate and timely matter. Pre-bus tables between each course. Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment. Complete opening and closing checklists. Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas. Monitor, observe and check on guests during dining experience. Ensure we have exceeded our guest’s experience in our food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement. Other duties as assigned. |
