Job summary

IHOP is seeking friendly, efficient servers to provide prompt, courteous service to all guests. You will greet guests, seat them, take orders, and deliver meals while handling remittances as required and keeping tables clean and reset for the next guests.

Precision in following IHOP Service Guidelines and SOPs is essential, along with maintaining knowledge of the menu and IHOP terminology. Ability to read and understand checks and communicate effectively with guests is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to read and speak English well enough to understand guest checks, read instructions, and communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain professional relationships with IHOP employees and guests.
• Execute the “Service Guidelines” per IHOP SOP to ensure a quality guest experience.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and invite them to return.
• Memorize IHOP terminology and menu knowledge.
• Comply with SOP methods for guest checks and server banking.
