Job summary

TGI Fridays is seeking a friendly Server in New York. You will greet guests, take orders, and provide attentive service to create a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for upselling drinks and menu items, maintaining POS accuracy, and following Fridays style standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver plates and clear tables.
• Must lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Must hear well in loud environments.
• Neatly groomed and in uniform at all times.
• Able to operate POS system and process payments accurately.
• Ability to respond calmly to upset guests and involve a manager when needed.
• Clear reading/writing notes for hearing-impaired guests.
• Read menus to assist sight-impaired guests.
• Speak clearly to take orders and explain items.
• Stand and walk throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile and create a quality dining experience.
• Take and relay food and beverage requests accurately.
• Ensure expeditious service and proactive guest check-ins.
• Learn and upsell Fridays menu and beverages.
• Accurately ring orders into the POS while interacting with guests.
• Promote and describe current promotions and features.
• Follow Fridays Service Style Standards and maintain guest satisfaction.
