Job summary

TGI Fridays in South Gate, CA is seeking a friendly, outgoing Server who loves delivering great guest experiences. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure accurate and timely service while promoting menu features.

Candidates should be comfortable using a POS system, upselling drinks and meals, and handling payments. A strong guest-service mindset and teamwork are essential; ability to stand for long shifts and work in a busy environment is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to deliver plates and food and clear tables.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to hear well amongst loud background noise.
• Must be dressed neatly and well groomed in company approved uniform at all times.
• Must be able to operate P.O.S. system, make change correctly and make credit card transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greets Guests with a genuine smile and builds rapport.
• Takes orders and ensures timely service of food and beverages.
• Expertly recommends menu items and upsells.
• Rings orders into the POS system accurately while interacting with Guests.
• Provides attentive, proactive service and checks on Guests.
• Maintains knowledge of TGIF promotions and features.
