Viejas Casino & Resort in California seeks a Front Desk Clerk to process hotel reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest requests with a friendly, professional demeanor.

You will handle payments, assist guests with room options, provide directions to property amenities, and coordinate with other team members to ensure a smooth guest experience. Requires 1–2 years related experience, high school diploma or GED, and ability to type 35 WPM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related experience and/or training.
• Guest service experience preferred.
• Must be able to type 35 WPM.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Processes reservations, registrations, check-ins/check-outs, requests, changes, and cancellations.
• Offers guest other room options and upsells when possible.
• Processes all payment types and provides changes.
• Handles monies, receipts, guest accounts and other forms of credit.
• Completes cashier’s report, prepares deposits, and counts cashier bank at shift end.
• Assists with making room reservations and maintains inventory of vacancies.
• Identifies room features to guests and acts as concierge with directions and information.
• Answers calls and responds to guest requests to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
• Makes other reservations (restaurants, shows) as needed.
• Maintains and organizes lobby and front desk area and arranges transportation for guests.
• Partners with team members to promote teamwork and notifies Security of theft reports.
• Ensures a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Adheres to policies and procedures; performs other duties.
