Job summary

The Maritime Conference Center is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to welcome guests, manage check-in/out, and support daily operations with a positive, no-drama approach.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of hotel front desk experience, strong customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality/POS systems, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods on a large facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years Hotel Front Desk Experience.
• Strong customer service skills and able to connect with guests positively.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Hospitality systems and POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Pre-block guest rooms based on available floors.
• Assist with sales/upkeep of the retail outlet.
• Deliver VIP Welcome Amenities to guest rooms.
• Check guests in and out and assign credentials.
• Verify accuracy of financial data, customer information, and payment postings.
• Blog front desk information on MS Teams daily shift blog.
• Handle reservations by phone.
• Collaborate with off-site hotels during oversell conditions.
• Maintain neat front desk and front office areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
