Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a customer-focused associate in California to provide friendly service, resolve returns, support order pickup, and process transactions accurately. You will mentor new hires on the register and help maintain inventory accuracy while building trust with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Strong ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders.
• Proficiency in MS Windows, iOS and Android operating systems.
• Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and deliver POS/register training to onboard new hires.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seamless, friendly service by understanding customer needs and owning interactions from start to finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
• Accurately process transactions and ticketing using POS and store systems.
• Build relationships with teammates and contribute to a positive, team-focused environment.
• Protect the security and privacy of customer information through education and resolution of issues.
