You will support daily shop operations, mentor staff, and partner with the General Manager to address challenges with a strategic mindset. The role emphasizes staff scheduling, training, inventory, food quality, health and safety compliance, and maintaining Playa Bowls standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a fast-paced food service or retail environment.
• Strong customer service mindset with a focus on guest experiences.
• Familiarity with personnel management and basic human resources responsibilities.
• Must pass the ServSafe certification within 3 months of employment.
• Working knowledge of supply chain and inventory processes.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shop operations and mentor new staff.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Train staff, recruit new hires, and evaluate performance.
• Monitor product quality, food safety, and presentation to Playa Bowls standards.
• Resolve operational issues with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Assist with inventory management, vendor coordination, and POS operation.
• Fill in for the General Manager during extended absences.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations.
