Playa Bowls, LLC. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily shop operations and lead a team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will train staff, manage scheduling, and resolve operational challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

The role requires experience in fast-paced food service or retail, strong customer service, and a ServSafe-friendly mindset, with availability on weekends and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a fast-paced food service or retail environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for guest experiences.
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with personnel management and HR responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support daily shop operations and staff training.
• Resolve operational challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.
• Monitor food quality, safety, and presentation to standards.
• Schedule staff hours and assign duties to ensure economical use of food and timely prep.
• Recruit new hires using ADP WFN, ads, or job fairs.
• Fill in for the General Manager during extended absences.
• Ensure health, fire, and food safety compliance.
• Manage deliveries, inventory, and vendor relationships.
