Job summary

Playa Bowls in Florida is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day shop operations, guest experience, and financial performance. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, and compliance to deliver exceptional service.

You will mentor Assistant Managers and Team Members, maintain safety standards, and partner with HR and operations to optimize labor and inventory while upholding Playa Bowls values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, ideally multi-unit.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage scheduling, budgeting, and day-to-day P&L.
• Experience recruiting, training, and coaching staff.
• Familiarity with POS systems and HRIS platforms such as ADP Workforce Now.
• Commitment to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day shop operations to meet guest expectations and financial goals.
• Lead and develop a team of managers and hourly staff with coaching and reviews.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll, and labor optimization across shifts.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure quality.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation compliance and training.
• Collaborate with HR and operations to support onboarding and performance.
