Job summary

United Dairy Farmers in Amelia, Ohio is seeking a First Assistant Manager to lead guest services and support the Store Manager by coaching shifts, supervising associates, and ensuring the Hi Five Guest Experience is delivered consistently.

You will keep the store in excellent condition, handle POS and gas transactions, and ensure compliance with all laws, safety rules, and company policies while maintaining a warm, efficient environment for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Coaching shifts, supervising associates, and conducting screening interviews as needed.
• Store administration tasks including ordering and review of weekly delivery reports; completion of paperwork as directed by Store Manager or District Supervisor.
• Deliver the Hi Five Guest Experience with warmth and efficiency; greet guests and ensure the store is prepared for customers at all times.
• DipSide Guest Services: preparation of shakes, malts, cones, sundaes and fountain drinks.
• Efficient operation of POS system and gas console; handle transactions, coins, credit cards, and coupons with accuracy.
• Stock shelves, maintain displays and keep dip cabinet, coffee pots and ice dispensers filled and presentable.
• Maintain store and parking lot safety and cleanliness; ensure equipment temperatures are monitored.
• Accurate completion of time records and the Customer First Document; perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Communicate clearly with guests; read and understand operating instructions for store equipment and price book.
