Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Front Desk Associate to warmly greet members, handle inquiries, and deliver first-rate service in a fast-paced gym setting. The Lead Front Desk role adds key holder duties, opening/closing responsibilities, and staff coaching as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months of face-to-face customer service, and availability for flexible hours including weekends. Benefits are provided for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Six months face-to-face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred
• Hours vary; weekday/weekend availability based on club needs
• Open or flexible availability is a plus

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service
• Resolve customer concerns with strong problem-solving skills
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift
• Handle payments, give change and receipts
• Promote products and promotions to drive revenue
• Answer questions with accurate information about procedures and policies
• Lead Front Desk Associate duties: open/close club, key holder, end-of-day metrics reporting
• Follow up and coach staff as needed
