Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Service Leader to uphold a positive customer experience by ensuring safe, high-quality food; manage a well-trained crew; and keep a clean, efficient front line with functioning equipment. The role emphasizes food safety, staff development, and smooth restaurant operations across shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Be able to understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Have knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures.
• Have knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters.
• Have familiarity with office paperwork.
• Have the knowledge and ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served.
• Keep the restaurant line clean, organized, and with properly functioning equipment.
• Be on your feet while clocked in; assist others with tasks when not busy.
• Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served.
• Help resolve food quality issues.
• Support food safety including hand washing, glove changes, and temperature monitoring.
• Monitor time and temperature on the line and daily food safety policies.
• Assist with crew performance reviews and development of future leaders.
• Assist with office administration duties and ensure supplies are ordered.
